Description
This coated Roland DX4 printhead also called ‘gold’ DX4 head is specially designed for Roland VersaUV LEF2 printers. It is the original Roland printhead (part number 6000005180). Its special coating resists UV inks better than standard DX4 printheads for better longevity
The 6000005180 DX4 gold printhead is recommended for versaUV printers but the standard 6000005213 DX4 printhead can also be used with firmware 1.4 or higher. However, all the printheads installed in one printer must be the same, a mixed configuration of standard and gold DX4 heads will not work.This "gold" DX4 printhead cannot be used in any other printer than those models listed bellow.
The following items are expressly excluded from warranty coverage:
- defects related, in any way, to the use of non-original inks
- clogged, missing or deviated nozzles
- defects related to misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, lack of use, or improper storage when not in use for extended periods
- defects related to failure to perform periodic maintenance as specified in the user documentation; operation for unintended purposes
- defects related to improper loading of media
- all other defects, failures or damage not considered manufacturing defects
- defects related to third-party applications, software, parts, components, or peripheral devices, including any bulk ink system.
- defects that are merely cosmetic in nature.
We recommend to change the head cables when installing a new printhead.
